school-energy-workshopsNovember has been a busy month for Wildways Adventures with lots of schools programmes. I’ve been delivering energy workshops to both primary and secondary schools in Blanchardstown, The Ilac Centre and Ballyfermot on behalf of The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).

I’ve also been training primary school teachers around Carlow on the Discover Primary Science and Maths programme with more left to do in November, December and into January.

I started the month with two Heritage in Schools visits to Derrinturn National School in Kildare hunting mini-beasts and identifying trees in the school grounds with pupils from 1st to 4th class who are working on their Biodiversity Flag and I’ll be ending it with two visits to St Fiac’s Ns in Carlow to teach pupils all about rocks, minerals and fossils.
