Duckett’s Grove

Duckett's Grove Carlow IrelandOnce the home of the Duckett family, Duckett’s Grove was bought by Carlow County Council in 2005 and has recently become home to craft workshops and a friendly and welcoming tea room, all open at weekends.

The grounds of Duckett’s Grove include the inner courtyard of the castle, two walled gardens, a small area of woodland and lawns. It is an ideal location for our themed trails and events as the castle itself provides inspiration for imaginative explorations.
